So you made those onion-rings yourself?! Impressive! They look AWESOME! Did you use panko to coat them, if you don't mind my asking?
I didn't know what else to give as a special n personalized birthday gift, so lastly a bento came to my mind
Ah the onion rings..yes I made them myself. For the coating, I used orange colored breadcrumbs that I bought at the store. In making onion rings, the important part is choosing the correct onion type. I recommend Holland onions cuz they're very round, large, have thick rings, juicy and not too spicy. Holland onions are slightly greenish in color, with peach-brown colored skin. To make the onion rings, firstly I coat the rings with flour, then dip them in beaten eggs, and finally roll them in breadcrumbs with some sesame seeds. After that just deep fry them in corn oil until the breadcrumbs look golden brown. Don't fry them too long cuz you don't want the onion to shrink too much n get too oily
